Podcasting and Audio Recording and Editing Resources

In preparing to produce one or more podcasts and videos for both the VCC EDUC 4150 online instructional course and for instructional resources at work, I have continued to look for suitable resources on the Internet.
In doing so, I found several good YouTube videos as tutorials for using Camtasia software in conjunction with an audio editor called Audacity.  Here are the links to these videos:

•  How to script, record, & edit tutorial videos with Camtasia & Audacity. Ryan Eash, a TechSmith instructional designer provides a comprehensive tutorial on how he makes videos that show people how to use Camtasia Studio. This video contains an excellent description of settings he uses for creating audio clips and integrating them in Camtasia.
•  How to Edit Narration in Audacity - to use with Camtasia Studio. For most TechSmith tutorials, the narration is actually recorded first with a handheld microphone or a podcaster USB microphone that feeds straight into Audacity. From there, the audio is exported as a .wav file that can later be brought into any Camtasia project. This tutorial presents an instructional designer's specific process for polishing the narration.
• Audacity: Complete Tutorial Guide to Audacity for Beginners. This video introduces Audacity's interface, as well as showing basic techniques to record and edit a clip. The video includes setting preferences, noise removal, normalization, equalization, compression, trimming, and more.
